Achievement in Music
With membership to ECMTA, teachers have the opportunity to enroll their students into AIM- Achievement in Music Program . This is a curriculum developed by ISMTA that focuses on the development of comprehensive musician skills. This nationally recognized exam is based on 12 levels through which a student progresses yearly. The exam is in two parts, theory and performance. The theory exams include sight reading, ear-training, harmonization and written exams. The performance exams include demonstration of technic and musicality through the different music periods.
The non-competitve nature of AIM enables the student and teacher to set goals for each year of study.
