Oct 2: Piano Ensemble Concert Preparation
Oct. 26 & 27: Piano Ensemble Concert at Baldwin Piano & Organ Center in Herrin, IL. Rehearse on 26th- 27th afternoon Concert.
Nov. 6: Piano Technician Henry Nicolaides will give a talk about Evolution of the Modern Temperament, a Historical Development of Tuning “Temper Tantrums”. Location at SIU Altgeld Hall room 110. Plus a demonstration by the Baldwin Piano Center of a “hybrid” called “Johannes Seiler”. Installed on the 47” Professional Studio Upright piano is the “QRS-PianoScan”.
Dec. 4: “New Books, New Toys”. Sharing teaching ideas/new books/summer camp, and workshops, attended by our members. A ‘Cookie Exchange’ for those that wish to participate!
